Applications requesting 3 contact hours or less must be submitted at least 10 business days prior to presentation date. Applications submitted after the designated time will be subject to a late fee.

Applications requesting more than 3 contact hours must be submitted at least 15 business days prior to presentation date. Applications submitted after the designated time will be subject to a late fee.

NOTICE: NEW CEA APPLICATION FEE INCREASE EFFECTIVE
JULY 1, 2008.

As of July 1, 2008 there will be a fee increase in the amount of $100.00 per contact hour.
Application fees are non-refundable.

New Late Fee Policy

Rhode Island State Nurses’ Association Provider and Approver Unit (CONE) adhere to the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation’s policies and procedures. Programs who do not meet the 10 business day submission process will be charged an additional fee.

NOTICE: CE CREDIT CALCULATION CHANGING January 1, 2007

Effective, January 1, 2007, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has directed continuing nursing education providers to change the way that continuing education credits are calculated. 1.0 Contact Hour will now be issued for activities that are 60 minutes in length. Thank you!!

The Rhode Island State Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC).

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation status is specifically for the continuing nursing education activity and does not confer Rhode Island State Nurses Association (RISNA) or ANCC's Commission on Accreditation endorsement of the commercial product(s).
