Continuing Education New Forms and Late Fee Policy New Application Forms have been posted. As of July 1, 2009, ONLY applications submitted on this form will be considered for review.
Applications requesting 3 contact hours or less must be submitted at least 10 business days prior to presentation date. Applications submitted after the designated time will be subject to a late fee. Applications requesting more than 3 contact hours must be submitted at least 15 business days prior to presentation date. Applications submitted after the designated time will be subject to a late fee. Updated approved provider information can be found here NOTICE: NEW CEA APPLICATION FEE INCREASE EFFECTIVE As of July 1, 2008 there will be a fee increase in the amount of $100.00 per contact hour. New Late Fee Policy Rhode Island State Nurses’ Association Provider and Approver Unit (CONE) adhere to the American Nurses’ Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation’s policies and procedures. Programs who do not meet the 10 business day submission process will be charged an additional fee. NOTICE: CE CREDIT CALCULATION CHANGING January 1, 2007 Effective, January 1, 2007, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has directed continuing nursing education providers to change the way that continuing education credits are calculated. 1.0 Contact Hour will now be issued for activities that are 60 minutes in length.
